One-on-one work for men · Austin, Texas

Become the man your family will talk about with love, for generations.

Everyone tells you to work on your marriage. That's advice for the wrong problem.

Where you might be

You're numbing the distance instead of facing it.

I work with men who are numbing the disconnect in their marriage instead of facing it. With work. With scrolling. With whatever's on hand.

Maybe nothing looks wrong yet. Maybe you already know something's off. Or maybe you're in it right now: a betrayal surfaced, an ultimatum on the table.

I meet you wherever that is.

What I do

I'm the guy you call when you're finally ready to look in the mirror.

To put forth an honest effort to understand why you think, feel and behave the way you always have. Not just to know your patterns. To actually do something about them.

I don't teach communication scripts and I don't run a group program. I get in the body with you, one on one, and show you the difference between performing change for her and actually becoming a different man.

Four pillars I teach from

The journey is to remake yourself, over and over, to serve what the moment needs.

Emotional maturity

Pillar I

Feel the whole of it without being run by it. Anger, grief, fear, want. In the room, not later in the truck.

Mental maturity

Pillar II

See the story you're telling about her, about yourself, about what a man is. Then decide if it's true.

Embodiment

Pillar III

The pattern lives in the body. So does the way out. Breath, posture, nervous system, presence.

Spiritual maturity

Pillar IV

Something larger than you, and what you're here to serve. The reason the work matters after you're gone.

Legacy

The way we love is the legacy we leave behind.

Not the money from the job you worked. Not the car or the house. When you leave this earth, the people who remember you will remember what it felt like to be around you.

What a gift it would be if they remembered you for compassion. For presence. For being brave enough to understand your deepest patterns and wounds, and undo a future you might have thought was fate.

I never get the sense he's telling me what I want to hear. It's going to be what I need to hear, whether I like it or not. But all of this with kindness, and a sense of humor.

About me

My name is Alex. I know this pattern because I lived it.

My own divorce cracked open a model of relationship I'd never once questioned, until it broke me. I rebuilt from the body up, through the kind of honesty that doesn't feel good going down. I'm married again now, raising a family in Austin, and I teach men how to love well by starting with themselves.

If you're finally ready to stop letting the past dictate your future, there's a way of working. It starts with a conversation.

A thirty-minute conversation. No pitch. You tell me what's going on, and we find out together whether working with me makes sense.
